Name: Emily Chow

I was born in Toronto, Canada. I emigrated to Hong Kong when I was seven years old; thus making me a dual citizen. I was brought up in a British Colony and educational system. I have been traveling continuously ever since I was an infant, therefore I am quick to adapt to new environments. My independent lifestyle has allowed me to find enjoyment in consistently aiming to learn about new things and to view our world in multiple perspectives. I enjoy solving problems and analyzing situations. I believe knowledge is lead through active curiosity and initiative.

The most memorable event in my life was the opportunity to perform in a professional Andrew Lloyd Webber theatrical musical. I am passionate about singing and performance. I had continuously engaged in various choirs ever since a young age. I once sang a Christmas Carol Concert with Kelly Chen and Betty Tung.

I am also an aspiring Linguist. I speak English, Cantonese, Mandarin, Conversational Japanese and Basic Korean. I have a major in Communications, Culture and Information Technology which explores the multiple disciplines within media including; human relations, advertising, marketing, broadcasting, audio and video production, semiotics as well as communication theories. My interests also spread towards the understanding of human interaction and behaviour. Thus, I also have a minor in Psychology. My second minor is in Geography. In secondary school, aside from the mandatory subjects, I focused on Fashion & Textiles Product Design, Art, English Language & Literature, Business, Mandarin and Psychology.

I also enjoy watching a variety of both educational and leisure shows including, home improvement & design shows as well as forensic detective dramas.
