Time flies.
It’s been a little over a month since my friend’s wedding brought me over to Pattaya for a rather unique five-day getaway. ♥

The tightly packed schedule filled my itinerary with events after events of what was my first official ‘Indian-styled” wedding of a close high-school friend. Although, I say ‘Indian-styled’, what I mean is actually in the most simmered down sense. The actual wedding lasted for a consecutive of three days, which is a cut back from the average seven day + Indian weddings.
Anyways, pictures speak faster than words, so I’ll let them do the talking. :)

Beautiful table setting.

The wedding cake we never got to eat.

Who would’ve guessed. The friend that beat us all to the punch. Congrats my dear K. ♥ :)

Indian weddings are known for their ability to deprive you of sleep and expect some intense dancing out of you. So, from the youngsters to the elders, with a long day behind us, every one was here for some good partying.

Bollywood dancing is really the way to go. ☆

But, nothing is without some Thai dancers. Lol.

Arabian Nights, Arabian Days~ ♥

As opposed to a camel or an elephant, our Princess Jasmine entered on a white horse. ^^
There were three main events. 1. Hollywood/Red-carpet, 2. Bollywood / Indian Wedding Ceremony, and 3. Arabian Pool Party. Three events also meant ‘three’ different sets of wardrobe. For the first night I chose to wear a full-length purple gown. Second night called for an Indian Sari/Lehnga, which I opted in royal turquoise. Lastly, the third night required something more versatile and ‘pool’ suitable, thus concluding with a summer floral knee-length dress.
(More pictures were posted on twitter.)
Unfortunately, I was without my camera for the Hollywood Red-Carpet event, but to be honest I didn’t really need it. Knowing K, it wouldn’t be her wedding without photographers and a film crew… Now, just got to wait for those photo-books and DVDs to hit my post box. ^^
So, after all the early mornings and late nights, I had a remaining day and a half to venture of into the Thai terrain… and when I think of Thailand (apart from the exotic dancers), I only think of three things… Water sports, Pad Thai, and of course…… Thai massage! :D

Parasailing ♥
Coral Island, Pattaya.

Spending the days lying poolside, with sunglasses and earphones was really a vacation that I hadn’t had in more than 10 years. All the staff were amazing, room-service was exceptional, the complimentary Thai drinks got me addicted, and the best thing yet… they had free wi-fi!! And…adding onto that some para-sailing, beach swimming, cheap shopping and Thai massaging, made it a really memorable trip.
Thanks for having us K. ♡
